Kentia Palm [Howea forsteriana]

The most popular of all Palms, widely sold and used in most interiors. It is a robust Palm and looks, to me, like the Palm one would associate with Aspidistras and Victorian houses with slightly dingy lighting. Nevertheless you really can’t go wrong with this Palm.

They look particularly good either side of an entrance or as a focal point at the end of a corridor or hall. Always use as tall a plant as possible - the graceful arching branches are a magnificent sight !
