Dracaena fragrans ‘Massangeana’

The plant in the terracotta coloured pot is what is commonly called a ‘trunked’ type of Dracaena. It has a thick trunk with a branched head of gorgeous long pendulous leaves. The yellow band in the centre of the leaf is its principal elegance.

It is a plant well suited to most interiors and is tolerant of artificial light if reasonably bright; the colouring fades if the light levels are too dim.

Every ‘trunked’ plant is a different shape, unlike ‘cane’ style plants which are more uniform and ordinary.
