This is a classic plant that represents one’s idea of the tropics. Along with Coconut palms, one always associates Banana plants with hot and exotic locations.

Using a Banana plant indoors can be successful if they are given planty of natural light. Be prepared for the leaves to split and look a bit tatty but also look forward to rapid growth of big jungly leaves that will reach about 3-4m.
